Description
Terumo Surflo™ Winged Infusion Sets with Needle Protection utilize the best needle technology from Terumo, ensuring smooth needle penetration into the skin, and are equipped with the Surshield® protective cover, designed to minimize the risk of potential needle injuries. Once the needle is withdrawn from the vein, the protective cover can be manually placed over the entire needle using a one-hand technique. An audible click confirms the correct activation of the Surshield® safety mechanism. Once covered, the needle is securely locked in the cover, and the user can safely dispose of it in a sharp object container or according to local regulations for disposing of such materials. To ensure stability and good grip during venipuncture, our winged infusion sets are equipped with ISO color-coded wings with a locking mechanism. The tubing material is flexible and kink-resistant to ensure consistent flow rates. Surflo™ Winged Infusion Sets from Terumo are free from DEHP and natural latex components.
